Vintage Baby Dress Giveaway

A few quiet moments snatched in the whirl and twirl and glamour and chaos of wool broadcloth and crisp pleated cotton finished up this little dress. I didn't have enough fabric to make the matching bonnet included in the pattern but whipped up a sweet little baby cap trimmed with lace to match the collar of the dress. Thanks to Paris from A Quiet and Peaceable Life for the pattern. I used it for Malachi when he was a baby and often turn to it when I want a tried and true result. This pattern always gives darling results.

The size is *supposed* to be a size 2T, and would likely fit a size 2 but would be extremely short; as indeed, was the fashion for little girls during the time this pattern was published. I think it would fit any size from a 6 month up, since it is a very loose style and only real factor is the length.

The measurements are:
Bust: appx. 22" (falls loose from a short yoke)
Length: (from shoulder to hem): 18.5"

To enter, please leave a comment or email me at david_sarahmeister @ mtco . com (omit spaces). A winner will be randomly selected on March 20th, in honor of the First Day of Spring.

Love,
Sarah
